Mary Makepeace married Nathaniel Gould before 4 Nov 1717. On that date, William Makepeace of Taunton gave 300 acres, in Taunton, to his daughter Mary Gould and her husband Nathaniel of Taunton. He also sold a piece of land to Nathaniel Gould of Taunton, feltmaker, on that day.[3]
Mary and Nathaniel Gould lived in Union, Connecticut, by 1733 when their daughter was born there.[2]
Mary inherited land from her father in 1736. 15 Nov 1750 Nathaniel Gould of Union, hatter, and his wife Mary, sold this land in Taunton for £20 "which peice of Land was Given by ye above said William Makepeace to seven of his Daughters by his Last Will and Testament." They both acknowledged this deed 25 Jan 1750/1.[4]
Mary was named in the 1750 will of her brother-in-law Joseph Godfrey, spouse of her deceased sister, Susannah.[5]
Nathaniel and Mary left no probate records and only the birth of one daughter was recorded. Fortunately, their other children were documented in various deeds.[2]
Mary died after 25 Jan 1750/1, the date she and Nathaniel acknowledged a deed. [2]

Speculation: Several of the children seem to have gone to Vermont. Did perhaps the parents go along in their old age, which would explain finding no records in Connecticut.
Unsourced death: 5 May 1753 Godfrey, Bibb, Georgia. Seems rather far-fetched.
