Biography

Albert was born in 1825. He was the son of Millington Lytle and Mary Potillo. He passed away in 1912.

Alberto Lytle was assigned as executor of his father's estate in 1874. Lawsuits arose from his brothers and sisters because they did not receive a 1/9 share of inheritance. The court proceedings continued for years. It appears that Alberto was selling off pieces of the property which in 1870 census was listed with a value of $65,500 dollars. Some of the property sales were requested by Alberto to the court to pay off debts and for cost of administering the estate. In other Probate cases that I have read the expenses were a couple of dollars to have the Sheriff to deliver summons papers. and a few dollars here and there. I do not think a man of wealth as Millington Lytle was that he owed much money to creditors. This Probate case had over 100 pages and I have not read all of them. Many pages was papering summoning the family to court by both sides with many pages of handwritten papers from different lawyers. The outcome I have not researched but I am sure Alberto's siblings didn't have much to do with Alberto after this occurred.
