Biography

Ann was born 22 Oct 1832 in St. Monance, Fife to Thomas Lowrie, fisherman and Magdalene Elder and baptised 11 Nov 1832. [1]

She was enumerated in the 1851 Scotland census at the age of 18, living with her parents Thomas Lowrie, 44, fisherman and Magdalene Elder 43, living on Fore Street in St. Monance. Also living there were her brothers and sisters -Elizabeth 15, Chapman 12, Alexander 9, Thomas 7, Andrew 5, and Magdalene 2.[2]

She married Thomas Wilson 26 Sep 1856 in St. Monance, Fife. Ann was a spinster, aged 23 and her parents were Thomas Lourie, fisherman and Magdalene Elder. Thomas was 21 and a fisherman. HIs parents were William Wilson, fisherman, and Mary Marr. [3]

She passed away 10 Dec 1914 of a cerebral thrombosis in St. Monance, Fife. She was the widow of Thomas Wilson, fisherman. Informant was her son William Wilson. [1]
