Biography

Robert Loweth married Mary Cawthorne in Warmington on March 30, 1807 in the parish of Ashton ltpo Oundle when Robert was 26 and Mary was 20. ^[1]

They had the following 9 children;

• Isaac (1807-1836)
• John (1811-1819)
• Robert (1812-1894)
• Joseph Cawthorne (1814-1886)
• Eliza (1816-1872)
• Ann (1818-1834)
• Daniel (1821-1889)
• Elizabeth (1823-1893)
• Charles (1825-1891)

By the time the 1841 census came along Isaac, Robert, Joseph and Eliza had all left home and John & Ann had died. ^[2]

In the 1851 census Eliza came back home to help her mum who was now 64. Robert died in 1856 and Mary in 1863. ^[3]

Mary Mears was NOT his wife - she would have been 48 years old when Charles was born. Robert was a Miller/Master.
