Biography
Elizabeth (Lodge) Hale was born in Gloucestershire, England.
Elizabeth was born about 1793. She was baptized on 14 may 1793 in Leigh, Gloucestershire. She is the daughter of William Lodge and Elizabeth Pearce. She was the eldest of six children.
Her first marriage to Joseph Swayne occurred on 4 Jan 1819 in the parish of Newnham, Gloucestershire.[1]
Her and Joseph would have two children born to them. Joseph Swayne in 1819 and Elizabeth Swayne in 1824. Her husband, Joseph died in Nov of 1830 in Newland.[2]
On 16 Feb 1833 she marries Thomas Hale in Lea.[3]
In December of 1858 she is buried in St. Mary's Churchyard, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire. Her husband would be buried along side her in 1879[4]
