William was born around 1762. He was the son of John Lodge and Esther Pope. He was baptized on 10 Jan 1763 in the parish of Mitcheldean. [1][2]
He would marry Elizabeth Pearce on 7 Jun 1792 in the parish of Mitcheldean.[3]
1783-87Land Tax Records show him living in Lea, Gloucestershire, St. Briavels Hundred on property owned by Mayner Colchester, Esq. for the Red Lion, the halls and raitions. [4][5]
1799 Land Tax Records show him living in Lea, Gloucestershire, St. Briavels Hundred on property owned by John Colchester, Esq. the Red Lion Inn (halls and raitons).[6]
1813 Land Tax Records show him living at the Crown Inn, Lea, Gloucestershire, St. Briavels Hundred owned by Mayner Colchester.[7]
1829 and 1830 Land Tax records show him living in Lea, Gloucestershire, St Briavels Hundred at the Crown Inn, (the halls and raitons) .Property owned by Mayner Colchester.[8]
He would die in mid 1840 in Lea, Herefordshire[9] His wife would die in Feb of 1845 in Lea, Gloucestershire.
