Biography

Abel Andrew Livingston, 1872-1949, was the son of David Brice Livingston and Sarah Ann Terris. He was born in Albert Mines, New Brunswick on 3 July 1872. His father was a miner at the time of Abel’s birth. William J. Lewis, MD, was his doctor at birth. In 1881, Abel lived with his family in Hillsborough, New Brunswick, Canada.

Abel, a trained nurse, married Ernestine J. Hoaglin on 30 May 1902 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. They had three daughters, one of whom died at age 12-13.

In 1920, they lived with their three children in Glendale, Los Angeles, California. Abel was a masseur. In 1930, they lived in Glendale, CA with their daughter Ruth. Abel was a trained nurse at a hospital. In 1940, they lived in Glendale, CA. Abel was a crossing guard. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

In December 1932, Abel Livingston applied for US citizenship. He was married on 30 May, 1902 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and had two daughters. He was a resident of Glendale, Los Angeles, California, and worked as a masseur. [6]

Abel Andrew Livingston died on 21 May 1949 in Los Angeles County, California. Burial: Unknown. He was the son of Robert Livingston and Elizabeth McFarlane. Abel had at least eleven siblings. [7] [8]
