Research Notes

In the Visitations of Nottinghamshire ^[1] the wife of Rowland de Sutton is not named apart from being the daughter and coheir of John (not Richard) de Lexington, Lord of Tuxford.

Her brother Henry, Bishop of Lincoln (1253-58), is noted as being the uncle of Oliver Sutton who was Bishop of Lincoln from (1280-1299) ^[2].
