Carl Lewis is an American former track and field athlete who competed in long jump and sprints. He won nine Olympic gold medals, one Olympic silver medal, and 10 World Championships medals.[1]
Frederick Carlton "Carl" Lewis was born in 1961 in Birmingham, Alabama. He is the son of Evelyn Lawler and William McKinley Lewis.
