Biography

Birth and Baptism
Joseph Letendre was born on 6 Apr 1759 and was baptized on 6 Apr 1759 at Saint-Francois-du-Lac, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[1]

First Marriage
Joseph Letendre and Marie Jeanne Petit were married on 10 Nov 1783 at Saint-Michel d'Yamaska, Province de Québec.[2]

Second Marriage
Joseph Letendre, widowed of Jeanne Petit, and Genevieve Lucier were married on 3 Aug 1835 at Saint-Michel-d'Yamaska, Yamaska, Bas-Canada.[3] Joseph was 76 and Genevieve was 54. By the time of their marriage, they appear to have had six children together, from 1805 to 1817, while Joseph was married to Jeanne Petit.

1851 Census of Canada
At the 1851 Census, Josesph Louis Letendre 93, was living at Saint-David, Yamaska, Canada-Est, with his wife, Genevieve Lucier 75. His grandson, Joseph Morin, was living with them.[4][5]

Death
Joseph Letendre, husband of Genevieve Lucier, died on 2 Apr 1857 and was buried 4 Apr 1857 at Saint-David, Yamaska, Canada-Est.[6]
