Ella Leiber was a centenarian, living to age 110.

Ella Ruth Leiber was born 24 Mar 1902^[1] in Preble County, Ohio, United States. She is the daughter of Fred Leiber and Mary Albert.

• In 1940 Ella R Leiber was living at 253 Market Street, Lewisburg, Harrison Township, Preble County, Ohio, United States with her family. She was 38 born in Ohio, single, had completed 2 years of high school and was working as a beauty operator in her own beauty shop. Her sister with the same occupation was Esther, age 40 and had completed the 8th grade. The head of house was their mother Mary Leiber, 78 born in Ohio, widowed and had completed the 5th grade.^[2]

Ruth retired from running a beauty shop in 1967.^[3]

In an interview around her 110th birthday she stated her secret to longevity was to never marry. Her fiancé had died of malaria in the early 1900s and she never married.
