Biography
Margaret Ann "Maggie" Lee was the daughter of Squire J. and Alcinda Lee. She was born about 1850 in Loudoun County Virginia.
Maggie married William Carroll the son of Philadelphia and John Carroll. The marriage took place in Loudoun County, Va., on 27 May 1872.
Margaret was buried at the Providence Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The grave marker shows Margaret A. Carroll and husband William with birth and death years. According to Clarke County death records, Margaret died on February 10, 1893.[1] However, this conflicts with the death year on her grave marker (1894).
