Biography
Morris Layman has Jewish Roots.
Morris Layman was born in about 1883 in Yekaterinoslav, Russian Empire.[1] His Hebrew name was משה בן זלמן Moshe ben Zalman.
Morris married Fanny (Fishbein) Layman (1886-abt.1958). The marriage was registered in the 1st quarter of 1907 in the Mile End district of London, England.[2]
In 1911, Morris, Fanny, their son and daughter and Morris' brother, Barnett Layman, and Fanny's sister, Rachel Fishkein, were living at 253 Brick Lane, Bethnal Green. Morris was a cabinet maker dealer. The complete household was:[1]
