Anna was born and then christened on 29 December 1801 in Lanivet. She is the daughter of Joseph Lawry and Anna Vercoe.[1]
She married Henry John Vercoe on 25 July 1820 in Gorran, Cornwall, England.[2]

Anna and Henry emigrated from England to New Zealand with five of their seven children on board the Joseph Fletcher, departing London on 31 August 1852 and arriving into Auckland on 8 October 1852.
Her husband passed away in March 1862, and Anna passed away 3 months later on 18 June 1862. [3]
Anna is buried in Symonds Street Cemetery, Auckland with her husband.
