Anna Margaretha Laumann was born on 27 August 1813 in Arheilgen. [1] [2] She was the daughter of Johann Bartholomäus Laumann and Anna Maria Klee. [1] [2]

She married Johann Lorenz Reitz on 29 December 1835 in Messel, Germany. [2] They had the following children:

  1. Margaretha b. 1836 [3]
  2. Johann b. 1838 [4]
  3. Simon b. 1841 [5]
  4. Philipp b. 1842 [6]
  5. Lorenz b. 1850 [7]
  6. Conrad [8]

She appeared in the 1860 US Census in Green Garen, Will County, Illinois. [8] She was living with her husband Lawrence and their children John, Simon, Philip, Lawrence, and Conrad. [8]

She appeared in the 1870 US Census in Wilton Township, Will County, Illinois. [9] She was living with her husband Lawrence and their children Simon, Philip, Conrad, and Margaret. [9]

She appeared in the 1880 US Census in Wilton, Will County, Illinois. [10] She was widowed and living with her son Philip. [10]
