When Barbara Laubner was born on February 26, 1871, in Meigs, Ohio, her father, Leonhardus, was 43, and her mother, Anna, was 37. She married Frederick Leifheit on March 30, 1895[1]. They had five children in 11 years: Ada Helen Leifheit 1895–1973;
Lena Irene Leifheit 1896–1986;
Clara E Leifheit 1902–1942; Charles Frederick Leifheit 1904–1971; Clifford Adolph Leifheit
1907–1968.
She died in 1934 in her hometown at the age of 63, and was buried in Pomeroy, Ohio.[2]
