Marie-Rose Langlois dite Traversy est née le 8 août 1743 et a été baptisée le 9 août 1743 à St-François-du-Lac, Nouvelle-France (QC).

Elle était la fille de Noël Langlois dit Traversy et de Françoise Niquette.

Elle a épousé Urbain Rouillard le 18 janvier 1768 à Baie-du-Febvre, QC.

Elle est décédée le 2 mars 1802 et a été inhumée le 3 mars 1802 à la cathédrale St-Jean-Baptiste, Nicolet, QC.

Marie Rose Langlois was born on 8 Aug 1743 and baptized the following day in Saint-François-du-Lac, Canada, Nouvelle-France. She was the daughter of Noël Langlois dit Traversy and Françoise Niquette.[1]She uses Marie only through her adult life, one record ascribed her the name Marie Jeanne (in her absence, baptism).

Marriage
Marie Langlois married [[Rouillard-75 Urbain Rouillard, son of Joseph Rouillard and Jeanne Leconte, on 18 Jan 1768 in Baie-du-Febvre, Province of Québec.[2] The two have 8 known children, 2 known to die young and 1 to marry.

Death and Burial
Marie Traversis dies on 2 Mar 1802, funeral being on the 3rd in Saint-Jean Baptiste, Nicolet, the record gave her the age of 60.[3]

Urbain Rouillard dies in his turn 2 Feb 1826, funeral on the 3rd in Nicolet, age ascribed to him being 90. [4]

Re LNAB: According to http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Name_Fields#Last_Name_at_Birth "Dit" names should not go in LNAB field. Langlois is the correct LNAB and Traversy is the dite name.
