Pierre Langlois is best known for being the father of Louis Langlois born in Trois-Rivières on June 5, 1642 the baptism record of which states that Pierre Langlois is the husband of an Indian woman named Madeleine Sauvagesse Algonquin.
Ethnicity and lineage issue
Mrs. Dominique Ritchot reputes a myth that is widely circulating on the Net in the following paraphrased terms:[1]
This myth is propagated through self-proclaimed « Native genealogical experts », who claim that Francoise Garnier / Grenier, wife of Noel Langlois, is of Aboriginal origin.
This myth is based on a number of documents by Luc Lacroix et al. including especially the undated one-page letter-format document entitled « Documentation Proving Aboriginal Ancestry for the Family of Noel Langlois », that in no way gives a single credible proof of Native ancestry this New France pioneer woman, who is the foremothers of a majority of French-canadians.
Lacroix et al. argue that because no parents or place of birth is stated in her marriage record, this raises doubts about her ethnicity.
The material related to the concessions to Jean Langlois in 1733, 1745, 1758 and 1764 and the baptism of Louis Langlois in June 5, 1742[2] suggest that the baptized child, Louis Langlois was Algonquin and that Jean Langlois, if aboriginal, was likely Huron.
Mrs. Ritchot points out that no genealogical link has been proven between those two individuals and Françoise Garnier/Grenier and the documentary evidence strongly indicates that there are no links between them.[1]
Mrs. Ritchot further points out that Lacroix et al. suggest this Madeleine Sauvagesse Algonguin could be Madeleine Godbout, wife of Pierre Langlois, son of Louis Langlois and Claire-Francoise Belanger and grandson of Noel Langlois and Francoise Garnier. Problem : no family relations is stated to the above mentioned in the baptism record. Nothing is known about Pierre Langlois, except he had two other children with a Native woman named Michelle Chapona : Joseph born c. 1748, buried March 13, 1755 in Pointe-du-Lac and another Joseph, baptized June 1, 1755 in Pointe-du-Lac.[1]
"No convincing evidence has been presented that shows that Françoise Garnier/Grenier was aboriginal or Algonquin.
"The parents and origins of Françoise Garnier/Grenier are not known and all material related to her possible origins is speculative.
"While it is possible that she was aboriginal, nothing indicates she was Algonquin.

I am sorry but I do not follow; what do you mean by "Which is the way this profile's children are connected!!" Louis is connected to Pierre only and the two Joseph to both Pierre & Michelle as confirmed in the records. Even Mrs. Ritchot agrees on that.
". . . the 1742 Trois-Rivieres baptism record (PRDH file no. 180711) only states that Louis, the son of Pierre Langlais and Madeleine an Algonquin woman, was baptised. This Pierre Langlais had two other children with Michelle Chapona, an Algonquin woman. No mention of any family link between Pierre Langlais and Noel Langlois or Jean Langlais « sauvage huron »."
Which is the way this profile's children are connected!!
However Madeleine Algonquin is not shown as being also married to Pierre Langlois.
