Elizabeth (Landseer) Marshall was born in the Town of Woburn, Bedfordshire, England.

Elizabeth Mary Landseer was born around 1835 in the farming Town of Woburn, in Bedfordshire, England (taken from her Marriage Certificate). She was the daughter of John Landseer (1799-1868) and Mary Parker (1800-1873). It is not clear when, and where, they emigrated to Australia but the family consisting of John, wife Mary, son George Parker and daughter, Elizabeth Mary all settled in Town of Moama, (directly across the Murray River from the larger town of Echuca in the neighbouring state of Victoria), in the Murray Region of the Colony of New South Wales.

Elizabeth married widower, Thomas Marshall on the 18 June 1861 at Christ Church, Little Myers Street, in the Town of Geelong, Colony of Victoria, Australia^[1].

MARRIAGES. MARSHALL—LANDSEER.—On the 18th inst, at Christ Church, Geelong, by the Rev. George Goodman, Thomas Marshall, Esq., of the Breakwater, to Elizabeth Mary, third daughter of John Landseer, Esq., of Woburn, Bedfordshire.^[2]

3. Frederick George Marshall, born 1865 in Momoa, New South Wales^[4];
4. Mary Elizabeth Marshall, born 1864 in Momoa, New South Wales^[5];
5. Florence Caroline Marshall, born 1872 in Momoa, New South Wales^[6]; and
6. Sarah Dudley (Marshall) Smith, born 14 January 1875 in Momoa, New South Wales^[7].

After their marriage, the Marshall family settled in the Town of Momoa, in the Colony of New South Wales, Australia (where Elizabeth's family had settled). Elizabeth passed away, at the age of 75, on the 8 August 1910, at her farm, "Wylgamere Station" in the Hamlet of Cryon, in the Walgett Shire, situated 685 km (426 mi) from the capital City of Sydney, in the north-west of New South Wales, Australia^[8]. Her remains were laid to rest in the Anglican portion, Monumental Section, grave number 441 of the Walgett Cemetery, 1 Bate Street, in the Town of Walgett, near the junctions of the Barwon and Namoi Rivers, in the Shire of Walgett, New South Wales, Australia^[9][10]

DEATHS. 'MARSHALL.— On August 8, at her residence, Wylgamere, Cryon, N.S.W., Elizabeth Mary, relict of the late Thomas Marshall, late of Coree Park, Jerilderie, aged 75 years.^[11]
