Charles Landon has English ancestors.

Birth
Charles William Landon was born in 1872 in New Zealand. He was the son of William Landon (1846–1914) and Harriet Jane Wootten (1851–1937). ^[1] Both his parents were born in England.

Marriage
In 1899, Charles, age 27, married Mary (Graham) Wright from Pōkeno a small town in the Waikato region in New Zealand. ^[2] Mary was a 37-year-old widow with eight children. Her first husband Thomas Wright had died two years previous.

In 1906, Charles' younger brother Henry Wootten Landon, age 26, married Charles' step daughter, 22-year-old Helen "Nellie" Wright. They would have five children together.

Death
Charles's wife Mary died in 1952. ^{[3] [4]}

Charles passed away at age 91 in 1963. ^[5]
