Biography

The daughter of John Lamb III and Martha (Thorpe) Lamb, Betsey Lamb was born in Schoharie County, New York in 1798,^[1] being baptized in Middleburgh, New York on September 15, 1799. She did not marry, and lived with her father in Springport Township, New York^[2] until his death in 1854. Afterward, Betsey lived with her sister, Caroline Warrick, and her family, residing in Aurelius, New York.^[3][4][5][6] She passed away there^{[citation needed]} at the age of 78 and is buried at Lamb Family Cemetery in Springport, New York.^[7]
