The Whittier News (Whittier, CA) - 24 Nov 1936, Tue; page 4: Mrs Lavina Calkins Coulter of 414 South Washington Ave passed away yesterday at the Burkett Home. Surviving are four sons, Oren Calkins of Corcoran, Harry Calkins of Fillmore, Elmer Calkins of Whittier and Delmer Calkins of Santa Fe Springs; and one daughter, Mrs Lola Hewitt of Galena, Kansas. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the White-Emerson Company chapel. Remains will be sent to the former home in Galena, KS, for internment
