Paternal relationship is confirmed by a triangulation group on MyHeritageDNA consisting of Shannon Trusty; Knowles1, child of JAMES KNOWLES-1896; & KM, grandchild of EDMUND BURK-1905, who share an 11cM segment on Chromosome 4. This segment is adjacent to an additional KNOWLES triangulation group that includes Shannon and other Knowles descendants. Shannon and Knowles1 are 3C3R; Shannon and KM are 5C1R; and Knowles1 and KM are 3C2R. KM has two Knowles lines due to a marriage of a second cousin Knowles ancestor pair. All are descended from different children of Edmund Knowles and Sallie Evans. Shannon is descended from ELIZABETH KNOWLES-1802; Knowles1 is descended from WADE KNOWLES-1818; and KM is descended from JAMES KNOWLES-1799.
