Biography

This profile is part of the Kirkland Name Study.

Warren Franklin Kirklen was born on 24 Oct. 1904 in Tennessee.[1]

He married Hattie Gossett about 1937.

He was a boilermaker at a steel shop when he and Hattie appeared on the census of 18 April 1940 at Texas Valley, Floyd County, Georgia.[2]

He was a wonderful granddad. Was in the Navy and had been a preacher during tent revivals in North Georgia in the Church of the Nazarene.

He fell and scraped his shoulder/back and called my dad; we think sepsis set in and he died in the hospital soon after. Warren died on 24 Dec. 1982 in Bartow County GA in the hospital in Cartersville.[3] and was buried at Schnietman Cemetery, Hamilton County, Tennessee. His memorial has a photo of his headstone.[1]
