Biography

Rebecca, daughter of John and Rebecca King, was born at Marshfield, MA on July 25, 1706 and baptized at Scituate, MA on August 25, 1706.

She married David Lapham at Scituate on December 4, 1727. [1] Rebeckah Lapham, and was received into full communion at the Second Church of Scituate on 13 Sep 1730 [2] They had 14 Children : (Merrick)[3]

  5. Elisha, born 10 May 1734, baptized 7 July 1734; m. Elizabeth Cole + Saberry Hiland.
  6. Elizabeth, born 7 November 1735, baptized 23 May 1736; m. William Sherman.
  7. Stephen, born 10 February 1736, baptized 24 April 1737*; Ruth Rogers (#1-6-7-1 +1-8-1-7-1).
  8. Benjamin, born 10 December 1738, baptized 22 April 1739; m. Content Barker.
