CONT Edmund C. Keyes of 409 Newbury St. died Friday night after a brief illness. He was born here, Sept. 29, 1880, and had been a barber for 24 years, retiring several years ago. He was a member of Hope Congregational Church and the Indian Orchard Lodge of Masons. Besides his wife, Mrs. Elsie (Gliesman) Keyes, he leaves two brothers, Clifton E. of this city and Frederick of Belchertown, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the Byron funeral home Monday at 3, with Rev. Allison Ray Heaps officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
