Biography

Rich Kelley, the fifth child born to Richard Kelley and Martha (Eaves|Kelley, was born in Tennessee^{[citation needed]} in 1850, residing with his family in Lawrence County.^[1][2]

Richard Kelley married Missouri (Gifford) Kelley, from a neighboring county just over the state line, in Alabama, marrying in 1868.^{[citation needed][3]} They made their home in Civil District 11 of Wayne County, Tennessee.^[4] farming.^[5] They were later enumerated in Wayne County's Civil District 7.Tennessee,^[6][7] being enumerated in Collinwood, Tennessee in 1920.^[8]

Richard Kelley passed away in Waterloo Township, Alabama^[9] in 1926, with his wife following him in death two years later. They are buried in Murphy's Chapel Cemetery in Lauderdale County, Alabama.^[10]
