Biography

Rich Kelley, the fifth child born to Richard Kelley and Martha (Eaves|Kelley, was born in Tennessee[citation needed] in 1850, residing with his family in Lawrence County.[1][2]

Richard Kelley married Missouri (Gifford) Kelley, from a neighboring county just over the state line, in Alabama, marrying in 1868.[citation needed][3] They made their home in Civil District 11 of Wayne County, Tennessee.[4] farming.[5] They were later enumerated in Wayne County's Civil District 7.Tennessee,[6][7] being enumerated in Collinwood, Tennessee in 1920.[8]

Richard Kelley passed away in Waterloo Township, Alabama[9] in 1926, with his wife following him in death two years later. They are buried in Murphy's Chapel Cemetery in Lauderdale County, Alabama.[10]
