Hi,

I sent you a check-in message several days ago about the 1776 Project to ask you about your past and continued involvement but have not yet heard back from you. Do you still want to be in the project?

If I don’t hear from you in a week or so, I’ll assume that you’ve moved on to other things, but you’re most welcome to re-join the project at any time.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Best wishes,

Betty -- 1776 Project Leader

Hi Betty, I've been a way for a week and didn't get your message. I am trying to do some genealogy again. I am recovering from a concussion. Computers are hard (the monitor flicker gives me a headache) so I'm slow.

I would like to stay in the project so I can learn how to use this platform better. Thank you for contacting me, Melissa

Hi Melissa. So good to hear you're recovering and feeling like doing some more genealogy. You are a member of 1776 Project, and we're glad to have you back.

Best wishes, Betty

Greetings from the 1776 Project . . .

We're doing our semi-annual check-in to ask whether you have made contributions to the project in the last six months?

Please note that it is a requirement for membership in the 1776 Project that you respond to this check-in. Please post your response as a reply to this message on your page, for convenience of record keeping.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Hello,

I am checking in on behalf of the 1776 Project to announce the new project membership requirements and to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. All project members are being asked to join one of the project teams and also to make at least one project contribution every 6 months. We are also asking all project members to join the project's Google Group for project communications.

If you are interested in remaining with the Project, please reply to this comment or send me a message, request to join the Google Group, and let us know what team you would like to participate on.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Hi Melissa,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordination is essential. Thanks for joining the US_HISTORY Project.

Hi Theresa, Not at all. I probably joined a clean up too soon. The directions aren't intuitive for me to help with cleaning up wiki. I had posted a query last week asking for help to show me how to make corrections. I'd rather do nothing than do it wrong. Hopefully between now and the next clean up I can learn what I need to do.

Regards, Melissa

Hi Melissa, how is it going? Are you finding your way with the FAG errors?
I added you to the team but you have to sign up to the clean a thon too.

Hi Melissa –

Thank you for joining WikiTree. I hope you’re enjoying our site.

I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can help you with?

Shirley – WikiMentor

Hello Melissa,

You've been a member of WikiTree for about a week now so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

I want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiMessenger

Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family.

Have a look at our New Member How-To page for some tips and tricks on getting started. If the link doesn't work in your e-mail, you can find it in the public comments on your profile page.

Need help? Just ask!

Above all, have FUN!  :)
