Biography

Mary was born in 1782, the daughter of George Jones and Margaret Morgan. She was the oldest of 5 known children. Her siblings were John Jones 1784 – 1866; Wharton Jones 1786 – 1836; Thomas Jones 1790 – 1815; and Nancy Jones Galliher 1796 –?.

Mary married Joshua Wood 10 Feb 1812 in Shenandoah County (later Page County), Virginia. ^[1] They would have 9 children.

Mary passed away in 1844 in Virginia.
