Biography

Charity was born in 1800. She is the daughter of George Jones and Alice Johnson.

In 1850 Charity is living with her father and a 5 month old child named James Jones.^[1]

She passed away in 1887.^[2][3] She never married.

Notes

Charity, and her sister Margaret, received the bulk of their father's estate based on his will.^[4]

On the 1850 census the following families are living in close proximity to each other in Carroll county, Virginia: Aaron Jones and his family; Sally (Jones) Littreal and her family; and the father, George Jones along with Charity.^[1]
