Biography

On the 1900 census his mother, Nellie, is listed as Head of House and he is residing with her in Litchfield,Connecticut. He was about age 12.

In 1910 we find Philip living in Waterbury, Connecticut with his wife, Carrie, and it states they were married two years. He is employed as a Bench Hand at a brass factory and renting a home. On this census we also find his child, Madison (age 1).

By 1920, we find that Phillip is widowed and he has two children, Madison H. (age 10) and Melvin A. (age 7). He is employed as a Machinist and his mother, Nellie, lives with him in Litchfield, Connecticut.
