I was born on October 22, 1998 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jerry Lane Carlson and Living Mother[1]. On my mother's side, my grandmother moved to Omaha around 1930, while my grandfather moved here in the 50's. On my father's side, both families came from Iowa around the turn of the century.
My interest in genealogy began as a child when an estranged family member reached out to us back in the early 2000’s in her search to find many of the Jewett family ancestors. As I got older, I became more interested in researching my roots from my father's side of the family.
