Biography
Willem Gerrit Jacobs traveled by wagon train from the Cape Colony, seeking independence of British rule.
Willem and his children were supposed to have died at Bloukrans. His wife Christina Catharin van Blerk, although wounded, survived. However, a death notice for 1840 shows that this is not accurate
