Wilhelmina Jackson Rolark was a politician and activist in Washington, D.C. She served four terms on the Council of the District of Columbia. She was also president of The Washington Informer, a weekly newspaper in Washington, D.C., founded by her husband, Calvin W. Rolark, Sr., in 1964.[1]
Margaret was born in 1916 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She was the daughter of John and Margaret Jackson.[2]
She married Calvin W. Rolark.
She died in 2006 after battling colon cancer for a year.[3][4]
