Biography
George W. Ink was born about 1863. He was the son of John and Julia Ink of Hector, Schuyler County, New York. [1]
He married Hattie L. Stilwell in November 1884. [2] In 1893 they were in Schuyler County. They were renting farm land of George H. Butler and had 3 horses, 6 cows, and 40 sheep. [3] Later, they were in Tompkins County, residing in Enfield, Newfield and then in the Ithaca area. They had two children, Fred H. and Charles F. Ink.
George W. Ink died in 1939. His death notice was published in the Trumansburg Free Press on December 22, 1939. [4] He is buried in Hayts Cemetery [5]
