Birth: Date in family notes is 28 Jul 1875 which was also used in many later records. Years between 1872-1877 were used in records. Actual birth from baptism register is 22 Jul 1872.

Mother's Maiden Name: Also some family notes indicate mother's maiden name was Greenan allegedly based on knowledge of him having a cousin Frank Greenan. Baptism register shows Godmother was Rose Greenan.

Middle Name: Family notes indicate middle name was Patrick, but no sources have been found to indicate he ever personally used it, He had a son John Patrick Hughes that had Jr in some records/notes, but no indication found that he ever used Sr in records.
