Biography

She was born on 03 Mar 1867 in St.George Hanover Square District, London, England ^[1] and her parents were Anne Frances (Ford) and Thomas Hughes, QC.

Lillian Hughes married about 1890 in Cheshire, England to Ernest Courtenay Carter.

On 15 Apr 1912 she was a passenger on the maiden voyage of the ship "RMS Titanic" when it hit an iceberg and sank resulting in her death in the Atlantic Ocean.
