William HUFF (1817 p. Fleming Co, KY - 7 Oct 1893, bur Carlisle Cem, Nicholas Co, KY) on in md Elizabeth STICKROD (7 Nov 1821 PA - 26 Apr 1895, bur Carlisle Cem) dau of Jacob STICKROD of PA and KY. William was a blacksmith and farmer who lived at Maysville and Moorefield. Their ch incl:

1. James Morgan Huff (2 Feb 1841 Fleming Co, KY - ) in 1861 md Mary J. DONALDSON of Fleming Co. They had one dau, Lizzie Bell. James M. was a blacksmith in Fleming and Mason counties, then moved to Boyd Co where he was a merchant first, then later the publisher of "The Ashland Republican."
2. William T. Huff (Dec 1842 KY - ) seems to have md (1) Angeline , who had Elizabeth M. and Margaret "Maggie". His grandfather, Samuel HUFF, was with him in 1870. By 1900 he may have md (2) Josie (1855 KY), of KY parents. William T. lived in Bath Co at Wyoming and Bethel, but he was back in Fleming Co by 1920.
3. George Huff (1845 KY - 1900/1910 KY) apparently lived in Robertson Co and md (1) Aleatha (1845 KY - d before 1900) and (2) Lucy (May 1857 KY). Aleatha's ch incl William; Mary E.; son Aris; Francis P.; and James E.
4. Francis H. Huff (1847 KY - 1927 bur Carlisle Cem). He may also have been listed as Chauncy. In 1870, he was a blacksmith in Moorefield, Nicholas Co, md to Martha L. (1851 KY - 1935 bur Carlisle Cem) with ch George and Lillie.
5. Samuel Huf (1850 KY - ) Unm in 1870.
