This information is obtained from "Digging Up My Roots" the FTM website of Barbara A. Van Gundy Peters. She is a descendant of Johannes' son Jonas. Ms. Van Gundy lists Johannes' birth date as August 1, 1706. Johannes and Rosina emigrated from Baudaden, Germany on the ship Pleasant in October, 1732. The ship Pleasant reportedly transported "30,000" German families from South of Heildburg, State of Senshim, Germany. Johannes reportedly landed in Philadelphia at the age of 24 (supporting the 1708 birthdate).
