Hi Nancy, I see that you just volunteered and signed our honor code. That's great! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key! Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Why don't you stop by the United Kingdom Project, (currently led/coordinated by Maria Maxwell to see how you can participate? I'll let the leaders know you are interested!
Let me know if you need help with anything. We are glad to have you on board!
Howland-1850 and Howland-1790 appear to represent the same person because: Hi Nancy...this is the original profile of yours that I started when I was working on the Howland tree for Matt. I have been trying to fix starting with Jedidiah, however there was a snag and hopefully can get it rectified soon. I had to be on a protected trusted list to do that.
You are now a confirmed member of WikiTree. Thank you for volunteering, and I wish you luck in connecting to your Craigs, Howlands and Petersons on our tree!
Have fun and ask for help if you need it. WikiTree members are always eager to offer guidance to a fellow genealogist.
If you need additional help, our Mentors Project is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to assist you with WikiTree-specific problems.
Wikitree is one BIG world-wide family tree that is freely accessible to everyone. Our goal is to have one profile per person which means we all work together as a BIG friendly and polite collaborative team!
