Biography
Bessie was born in 1875 in Devon. She was a pupil teacher when she married Alfred in 1900, in a double wedding with his brother William & Bertha. The couple then lived in London. In 1911 she was a teacher in London and they had no children. She was widowed in 1935 and moved to Devon. In 1939 she was living with her sister Jessie Bastow and family in Torquay. She died in Devon in 1962, probate to Reginald Arthur & Wilfred Bastow, house decorators.
