Vachel was born in 1737. He passed away before 1825. His will is recorded in Fleming County, Kentucky on April 19, 1821. Fleming County court records signed by Joshua Stockton indicate the document was presented to the court on 4 July 1825 and sworn by Thomas (I.) Henry (Fitch?) to be the correct will.
