William Henry Hills married Selina Alice Mace on 23 April 1881 in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia.[1] They were married at the Chalmer's Manse, Launceston and were both minors at the time of their marriage, which took place under the rites of the Free Church of Scotland.
At some point, William Henry Hills had a store, probably near Derby. He also had interests there in a tin mine. He also worked as a carpenter, as noted in the birth registrations of some of his children.
