Biography

Charles was born in 1904. He is the son of Ernest Hendy and Lucretia Evans. [1]
In 1911 Charles was one of 6 children living with parents Ernest and Lucretia at 83 Grosvenor Road, St Pauls, Bristol. Ernest worked for the Bristol Tramway and Carriage company as a Taxi Cab Driver. [2]
On 20 December 1933 Charles emigrated to Canada. [3]
Charles died aged about 91 in 1997. His gravestone indicates his wife was Viola (further text is obliterated). He is buried in Dungannon, Huron County, Ontario, Canada. [4] Charles is also mentioned in the obituary of his brother Bertram and on Bertrams Gravestone. [5]
