Living with widowed mother and working as a machinist in 1880.[1]Notice of death published 10 Nov and 17 Nov 1889 in Louisiana newspapers (Daily Picayune), with death date 9 Nov 1889.[2]Memorial headstone transcription errantly states death year as 1891.[3]
