Biography

Settled in Muncy [r1p14]. Thomas left the family stronghold in Bucks County, Pa., in 1797 and settled in Muncy -- which must be all of 75 miles away. He then proceeded to marry Polly Phillips and to have 15 children, none of whom is mentioned in the contemporary records, probably because they lived so far away from headquarters and were not much given to writing letters!

Thomas Heacock born May 11, 1773. Married Mary Phillips in 1796. Moved to Muncie Pennsylvania, then moved to Savage Hill Columbia County near Forks Pennsylvania. Thomas was a carpenter and died about 1845; buried in Forks Cemetery Columbia County.
