  • First-hand information. Entered by Don Bowman at registration.

1950 Census James Donald was born in Kentucky and currently 4 yr old and lived with his grandparents on a farm located on a small unnamed road off Maj Tom Hall Road in Bayou Meto Twp, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Kentucky Birth Index - Although it shows that James D. Hensley was born on 15 April 1946 we know from yDNA evidence that my family name is Bowman. The Hensley name came from the BF who would eventually murder her.

You sent me a private message from my page "quoting" a conversation between me and you but I am not "the 5 x grandson of John Hicks who married Elizabeth Barnfield in 1814" and I think you have messaged the wrong person. I am no one's grandson :)

Sorry about that. This is the message that was sent to me:

Hi I am the 5xgrandson of John Hicks who married Elizabeth Barnfield in 1814 John was the son of Littleberry Hicks and Agnes Jordan. They had many children up to 12 by accounts from my grandfather. James Greenberry(1818) William (1820) Alexander(1834) Elizabeth(1836) John (1828) I am from Alexander he came to Australia in 1854 chasing gold and married Mary O'Dwyer in 1856. Alexanders marriage certificate gave that his father John was deceased. And his mother was Elizabeth Barnfield and she was in Tennessee and a farmer. The only children I have been able to trace are that of Greenberry and Alexander the others haven't had much luck. Like you a lot of people have John marrying a Mills which I believe is incorrect My Alexander told family he was one of 12 and left home to chase gold in California where he appears in Census as being born in Missouri which is feasible because John left Tennessee sometime around 1830 and returned around 1840. He also mentioned the family lived in Hickman County Tennessee. He. Also mentioned that Alexanders grand parents and his father and Uncle and Aunts were buried in Aetna Cemetary. I have great deal of info if you want.

Hi!

How's everything going? You might be finding duplicate profiles now. We have a Help Page to help you learn what to do with them. Be sure to check for your pending merges by going to FIND, PENDING MERGES, and sort for those waiting on you. Upon completing a merge, be sure to clean up/edit the Biography as ALL information from both profiles are copied and remove any duplicate info.

If you want updates on surnames you can add them by going to MY WIKITREE, NAV HOME PAGE, scroll down to just below WIKI GENEALOGY FEED to EDIT FOLLOWED SURNAMES. You can add up to 20.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those situations.
