Biography

Mary Ann Elizabeth Harrington (married name Jenkins) was born on 30 June 1827 in London, England, the daughter of Ann Harrington (nee Applegate) and John Harrington.[1]

She was christened on 4 November 1827 at the Congregational or Independent, Wethersfield, Essex.[2]

She married Joseph Jenkins on 1 August 1848 at Christ Church Spitalfields, London.[3]

Joseph and Mary Ann with infant daughter, emigrated to Victoria, Australia on the "Northumberland, arriving in October of 1853.[4]

Their children were:[5]

Mary migrated to Australia on the ship 'Northumberland' in 1854.[6]

Mary died in 1865 in Victoria, Australia, aged 39 years.[1]
