BOY SCOUTS. Tue 4 Apr 1911 [2]
Last Saturday Troops 29 (Ocean Beach) and 30 (Cottesloe) held a combined meeting at Mosman's Bay, under ; S.M.'s Hollamby and McKenzie and Deputy S.M. Waterhouse. Some excellent inter-troop swimming races took place, which were won by representatives from Troop 29.
A prize was offered by the 29th Troop for the best example of life-saving by scouts of the 30th Troop, and was well won by Scout Smith, who brought Scout Harburn to the jetty in the approved method of the Life Saving Society.
The 29th Troop on shore afterwards went through life-saving, ambulance, and skirmishing drill, concluding with songs and recitations round the camp fire.

BOY SCOUTS. (1911, September 21). [3]
The Cottesloe 30th Troop journeyed to Woodlupine on Saturday last, where they engaged in a friendly game of Australian football. Each team had several of their best men away, but notwithstanding this a fast and strenuous game resulted in the visitors' favour by 2 goals 3 behinds to 1 goal 5 behinds. For Woodlupine, McIntosh (2), Werner, Allen, and Coupland played best; while for the losers Harburn (2), Mutton, Grono, Edwards, Worsely, and Hollamby were most conspicuous. After the match refreshments were provided by Mr Holmes and several other citizens of Woodlupine.
