Here is my family tree.
My immigrant ancestor John Hamilton came from Ulster to PA in 1741. His great-grandson A. Boyd Hamilton published a Hamilton Family Record in the 1870's. Y-DNA results indicate that I am in Group A of the Hamilton single-name study at Family Tree DNA. Group A is the group that is believed to be descended from Walter fitz Gilbert, progenitor of the large and well documented Scottish Hamilton family. Although differing accounts of John Hamilton's ancestry have been published I believe his parents have never been correctly identified. My biggest remaining genealogical goal is to connect John to his parents and other ancestors.
